Ms. Christine Erickson, originally from Burbank, California, has been deeply engaged in the realm of purebred dogs throughout her life, a passion nurtured by her parents, both of who were accomplished multi-group judges.

In 1975, Ms. Erickson embraced her family’s enthusiasm for terriers by beginning to show and breed Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Over the years she has owned, bred, and exhibited a diverse array of breeds, including Australian Terriers, Bedlington Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Smooth Fox Terriers, Silky Terriers, and in 1995 her first Miniature Wire Dachshund. Her extensive involvement in various all-breed clubs, specialty clubs, and breed clubs has seen her assume numerous leadership roles.

Beginning her judging career in 2002, Ms. Erickson is currently approved to judge the Terrier Group, Hound Group, and Toy Group, as well as several Herding breeds, Poodles, and Best in Show. She has had the honor of judging at prestigious events, including Westminster in addition to many national breed specialties.
Furthermore, Ms. Erickson has traveled extensively, judging dog shows in multiple counties across the globe.
