Wheaten Grooming Webinars

SCWTCA introduced an educational series of webinars in 2021. The objective is to sponsor a monthly talk on topics ranging from health to structure, grooming, and training. This page is dedicated to Grooming Webinars. Some webinars are longer (up to an hour) while many are shorter clips on teaching you how to keep your Wheaten in condition. Being in condition does not mean a show trim, it might be how to take a mat out, or how to trim toenails. Be sure to check back often and follow us on social media where we post new clips.

Remember, you can purchase pet trim grooming guides in our Shop at a pass through cost and be sure to visit our quarterly publication Benchmarks.

A Wheaten Terrier coat undergoes a couple of coat changes in its life. The first coat change is from a puppy coat to adolescent coat and then from its adolescent coat to its adult coat. During these changes, the dog can develop mats daily.  Don't feel bad, it happens to all of us.  It is our mission to educate you in the difference areas of Wheaten ownership and learning about your dogs grooming needs is very important.  Watch this short video clip and learn how to to successfully take a mat out.
